In order to separate the small particles from the large ones, several small-diameter cyclones are used. Depending on the application, my hurricane library contains up to 200. The choice of a 2 “or 4” diameter hydrocyclone will depend on the gas flow rate of the system.
Product advantage
·Efficient liquid and solid removal
·Extensive processes
·Peak capacity of intermittent flow
·Safeguarding freedom
·Fixed or removable cyclone
·2 “or 4” diameter cyclones available
Operation principle
Operation of multi tube principle
The multi cyclone scrubber uses centrifugal force to effectively remove the solid particles and liquid in the gas without moving parts.
(a) the dirty gas enters the cyclone tube at two tangent lines.
(b) the shell forces the gas to form a cyclonic flow pattern. The centrifugal force throws the solid and liquid to the inner swirl pipe wall.
(c) solid and liquid particles are discharged into the wall of cyclone tube and gathered at the bottom.
(d) clean gas flows down and up through the center annulus, from the top outlet
application area
·Distribution system, trunk substation, industrial process application, gas collection system, petrochemical plant, slug capture, absorption process, recip compressor protection
Design features
Union multi tube separator
The structure of the multi cyclone separator can resist many years of abrasive wear, and it is strong and durable, and can withstand various air flow applications. In the application of corrosive gas, the key components of the ultra-fine swirl can be made of corrosion-resistant steel alloy. The initial cost of the cyclone separator is relatively low. Vertical and horizontal configurations are available.
Vortex tube separator
The unique vortex tube separator provides excellent performance in a range of applications, including the removal of condensate from the gas stream, the removal of entrainment after distillation or absorption processes, and the removal of liquids from interstage and final discharge stages in reciprocating compressors.
Operation principle
When the liquid entrained in the hydrocyclone passes through the air inlet, the inertial force is generated on it.
(a) the contaminated gas enters the vortex tube and applies centrifugal force on the vortex.
(b) the liquid is ejected from the air stream and in contact with the wall of the vortex tube
(c) the liquid falls off from the main extraction tank of the hydrocyclone
(d) a small amount of gas in the main extraction tank flows back through the side opening through the swirl pipe to realize the repeated separation process.
(E) clean gas is discharged from the cyclone.
